Webalix.com does not
tolerate UBE (Unauthorized Bulk Email) and
will not allow our servers or services to be used for such purposes.
We do not accept or tolerate Websites that advertise using SPAM (spamvertised) even if the SPAM is not sent through our Servers.
If Webalix.com receives complaints, or our monitoring
Software detects outgoing SPAM, we will suspend
e-mail boxes and web-pages associated with the domain name in question
for a period of no less than 5 days.
The Reseller will be required to respond by email to Webalix.com stating
that his client will cease to send UBE and/or have UBE sent on their behalf.
In the event that we receive further
complaints after the site has been unlocked the first time,
We will terminate the hosting and
email boxes associated with domain name in question. The Reseller will be warned. If we notice multiple violations of a resellers customers in a short period of time, or detect that a reseller supports SPAM in any form we will suspend his account including all his clients immediately.
If you are planning on sending out large amounts of
e-mail (i.e. to your newsletter to existing customers) please consult
our support team before you
try to send these to prevent accidental shutdown of services.
SPAM and Unsolicited Commercial Email (UCE): Webalix.com takes a zero tolerance approach to the sending of Unsolicited
Commercial
Email (UCE) or SPAM over our network. Very simply this means that
customers/resellers of Webalix.com may not use or permit others
to use our network to transact in UCE. Customers/Resellers of Webalix.com may
not
host,
or permit hosting of, sites or information that is advertised by
UCE from other networks. In addition, it is not acceptable to transmit
bulk email through remote SOCKS, HTTP or other similar proxies
who in turn make a SMTP (TCP port 25) connection to the destination
mail servers. This technique may result in account suspension or
termination. Violations of this policy carry severe penalties,
including termination of service. In order to prevent unnecessary
blacklisting due to spam we reserve the right to occasionally sample
bulk email being sent from servers. |
